I am proud to admit I have had the easiest pregnancy on the planet. Sure the first 6 to 8 to was it even 12 weeks were tough- but that's dead and gone. Since that one fine January day I have been flying fancy free.
I have become prominently round but that's a welcome change. I'm a chubby puppy and I think it's beautiful. I keep reading books and telling Ken things like, "Did you know that I could get hemorrhoids and have to sit on a balloon cushion? From being pregnant?!" Sadly, we laugh at these side effects. It has literally been a breeze.
However.
Last week, I was in my bed- sound asleep- when I was attacked with the worst Charlie Horse in history. My legs coiled in pain. My toes crunched into themselves. I writhed between the sheets and muffled my screams. The agony. The inescapable pain. No amount of massaging, stretching, or walking would make it go away. This has returned to me nightly.
I swear right before the pain hits I hear someone whisper, "Crucio."

I got leg cramps at night too. I noticed if I drank a big glass of water before bed, though it makes for more trips to the bathroom, it made the cramps go away. Also, when my leg cramped, if I flexed my my foot the cramp would go away faster.
You're pretty lucky to have such few pregnancy problems.
Oh that is horrible! I hate Charlie Horses. Where did that name come from anyway? I am so glad your pregnancy is good! Some ppl are sick the whole time! Go Patty, go Patty!
Leg cramps aren't any fun! I remember them! Glad you are feeling so good!
Patters I am sorry about your leg cramps, can't help you there I never got them, anything else though I did get, ugh!!!! About the hemroids it's a reality sister, but by some ballons now!
Hahahaha! Crucio!!! Charlie Horses literally take your breath away; they are so painful. I got a couple with Dylan, but haven't had them with any other kids. The only thing I know of is flexing your foot really hard. I'll have to do some research on that one. I'm so happy for you that you are feeling good. What a wonderful blessing. One I wish I had. :)
Take more calcium. I got them with all my kids and still do sometimes. My doctor said it is a sign of low calcium.
I get lose dang leg cramps also. They hurt so bad!! If I eat at least one banana a day, they go away or the pain is much less painful. I guess it has something to do with the potassium. So drink a big glass of water, eat a banana and have a calcium tablet! :) Good luck!!
I got leg cramps really bad with Jonas and kind of with Brynnan. They ARE horrible!! Eat more bananas:) That's what my doctor told me with Jonas. So really, eat more potassium. I have no idea if it really works. LOL
You're very lucky your pregnancy has been a breeze!! Hope the leg cramps go away and you get back to feeling the breeze again:)
