Seasons

Wasn't that one day of Spring just gorgeous yesterday?
I love it when the Earth smells like wet dirt after coming out of Winter.  It's melting.  Letting go of the coldness and giving into warmth.
My friend told me that life is like seasons.  Sometimes you are in Summer.  Everything is warm and sunny and easy.  There is an occasional thunderstorm, but it blows over.  Then, sometimes, you are in Winter.  There might be a sunny moment here or there.  But it is Winter in your life.  My friend was much more eloquent.
I am in Spring. The cold, hardness is melting inside of me.  Icicles are dripping into muddy grass.  I am open.  I am warm.  I am becoming myself.  Inhale.  Deeply.  It's so fresh.  I feel fresh.

This is nice, Patty. Good Charlotte sings a song called "Seasons" about what each season reminds them of. I started singing in my head right when I read the post title. I think I am in Spring, too--but every now and then, I lapse back to Winter...and not the fuzzy socks and fireplace and Christmas Carols winter--the bitter, cold, stay-in-side winter--not a fan of that season when it comes to me. Let's celebrate Spring together!?...and before we know it it we'll be summers.

This post makes me happy. It's really, really good to be in spring, emotionally. Good for you, Pats. And it's amazing that you are in spring, considering all the crap you're dealing with - Graves Disease, etc.

Patty I love to hear that! I never thought of friends like that or being a certain season. Today I was walking around all smiley (this is rare in the Winter) and I just felt good. I must be in spring too. Love you Patty!

I am not sure what season I am in...but I am happy that you are in Spring. It's one of my favorite seasons, because everything comes back to life. Sometimes I think Spring is even better than summer.

In the words of Modest Mouse..
"Bad news comes don't you worry even when it lands
Good news will work its way to all them plans...
Even if things get heavy we'll all float on
Alright already we'll all float on
Don't you worry we'll all float on"

Take care of your self Patty, I am thinking about ya!
