Phenomenal Cosmic Powers

You know when your playing those question games and the question comes up "If you could have any super power what would it be?" I always say "Invisibility." I think being invisible would be awesome. Not to spy on people- but to live my own life secretly. But lately- I've been thinking I've been wishing for the wrong super power.
I've been struggling with my hair do for awhile. I really don't know how to fix my hair. Like at all. That is why it is the same. Every. Day. Today I mixed it up and put it in a low pony. WATCH out! I look at pictures of my sisters and I'm like, "They get it. They've GOT it!" It's phenomenal the hair on these women. Great Hair and Bradley Girls go hand in hand... 4 out of the 5 times.
Here's Krissy: She's rocking the just above the shoulder, super trendy look. Never a crease from the straightener- perfectly shiny. Enviable.Victoria has a mane of hair. It's thick, luscious, and she doesn't have to do a thing to it. She wakes up, showers, leaves, and in 15 minutes it's dry and fabulous. Incredible.
Julie has the longest, most super-model looking hair I've seen. It's like- she walks around and her hair flows like there are fans blowing on it. Like a photo shoot. Phenomenal.
Andi's hair always looks like a million bucks. It's full and fun. She'll have it super straight one day and curly piled on top of her head the next. Andi's hair is the hair where she doesn't like it in her face so she'll grab a pony tail and without a mirror throw it up and she looks ready for the Oscars. Oh, if only it were me.
Then there's mine. I seriously cannot find a picture where my hair looks good. Or different. It's always the same. Down, sorta straight, really limp, ugh. I just tell my picture self... put it in a pony tail! Save yourself! Oh how frustrating.
From now on... I am changing my answer to that question. If I could have any super power it would be killer hair that is completely effortless. I know it's already in my genes.

Pregnancy will probably change your hair. And because we all know you were born to be a mother, maybe your hair has just been waiting to be born as well. *wink* You always look great...but I have a feeling you can start looking forward to longer, thicker hair in no time. That's what pregnancy does.

What kind of hair do you want? Sometimes it is nice to have a change! Have you always had it long? Be daring and chop it off!

I would totally have to wish for the same super power. Lately my hair is so blah! Even when I do straighten it or curl it. Yuck! I always thought your hair looked so nice on Sundays when I'd see you at church! :)

Ohhh, Pats, I've been in the same boat for awhile. I almost did a Krissy 'do when I got it cut last week. Still might. But I'll stick with the flip for awhile. I think your hair looks great - it's not stringey or fuzzy. I liked it once when I was jogging and you were driving home from work. You had scrunched it in some way to make it curly, and then you had a little bangs ponytail thing - if that makes sense - and then the rest in a high ponytail, and it looked cuter than crap.

Oh, and I forgot to say, it was when Dylan was with me, and you stopped and talked with me for awhile.

Hey man I know what you're going through. I have 4 sisters....One has curly beautiful hair, the other has straight luscious non-frizzy hair, the other has thick soft flowing hair and the other has cute hair no matter what time of the day or cut. And I'm stuck with frizzy, wirey, greasy, stinky by the end of the day, no curl let alone bend to it all hair...plus it's all falling out in clumps. After I had Marley, it's been falling falling falling. You know that Primary song that goes "Leaves are falling all around...on the house and on the ground....", well 'HAIR IS FALLING ALL AROUND, IN THE HOUSE AND ON THE FLOOR YADA YADA YADA. Story of my life....

Patty, You always look cute no matter what your hair looks like. Quit being down on yourself so much! You're a doll. Pregnancy will change your hair. Mine has natural curl just in the last few years and I'm over the hill.
