Just So You Know.

If you are a mom...
and you're sitting at the playground gabbing (and giggling) with your friend- and paying absolutely ZERO attention to your kid(s) and they do something to MY kid that I AM watching (IE: steal a toy, hit, yell at, push, bully, anything.) Yeah.  You can bet your big fat lazy cellulite infested butt* I'm going to say something (politely) to your kid in order to protect mine.
But, if you come up to me and get up in my grill for disciplining your child - because apparently he's never heard "no" before I said it to him and he screams and cries and you look up from your bag of Funyuns for the first time in an hour to see what could be wrong with your little precious....  Yeah.  Go ahead.  Put down your Diet Coke. Stomp on over.  Gimme all you got.
But don't worry about the can opener.
I's a be getting whoop ass all over the place.

*applies to all negligent moms... not just ones with saggy mom butts.

*sigh*

I hate people like that.... Unaccountable ones. It's been a rough day today, and sadly, it seems that the accountable ones are outnumbered 7 to 1 around here.

All I have to say though is that none of those UN accountable ones are sleeping on my couch. Nope.

I love how much moxie you have, Pats. You do the confrontation-with-strangers thing so well. You can kick butt. And I love it. I would have quietly taken my kid and left the playground, shooting crusty looks at the offending kid and his mom, which they wouldn't have seen. That's how lame I am.

Oh my heck that's so funny because I've TOTALLY done that before at Porter Park here in Rexburg - awesome!

I was on shaky ground with my ex-sister in law before I helped my nephew off the slide after he shoved my son off the top, and made my nephew sit on the bench next to her so he would remember you never push my kid. Never. There is nothing I like better than a Mom rumble on the playground! Good for you!
